A Night in Old San Antonio : A History in Photographs
Description:
The children of architect O'Neil Ford and his wife, Conservation Society member Wanda Ford, get ready for a goat cart ride; a popular attraction among younger NIOSA visitors. Wanda's mother, Elizabeth Graham, helped to start the Indian Harvest Festival originally held at Mission San Jose, near their home. Mrs. Graham used her animals, including goats, donkeys, and geese, to help create a colorful, historic atmosphere.
