Society president Beverly Blount (1973—75) and former president Ethel Harris (1951—53) take to the stage. Mrs. Harris, together with Elizabeth Graham, helped to create NIOSA's colorful street fair atmosphere. She imported authentic goods for decoration and to sell in the Mexican Market. Her housekeeper, Maria Ochoa, created the handmade tortillas famous throughout NIOSA.
