First VP Patti Zaiontz reported that several Government Hill residents spoke in opposition, voicing concerns over the density on the lot, traffic, parking, and the fact the project places condos mid-block.  Even though the architect met with HDRC’s design review team, the commission  still wasn’t happy with the project. Facing an ultimate denial, the applicant withdrew, but plans to apply for a zoning change to accommodate the increased density and go to the Board of Adjustment for a set back variance.
