Proposed gifts of books, photos, or other documentary items may be accepted by the library when the acquisition is in keeping with our collection development policy. Please contact the librarian at bstandifird@saconservation.org, or 210-224-6163, prior to bringing or sending any materials to the library.
Gifts will be acknowledged both in writing to the donor and in the accession record. However, donors should create their own inventories to keep for their records.
The library cannot assign value to gifts for tax credit purposes. Please contact a professional appraiser and/or appropriate financial or legal advisor. U.S. Internal Revenue Service publications regarding tax credits are available on the IRS website.
Monetary gifts to the Foundation may be designated for the library and will be appreciatively acknowledged.
