Clipping Files
This collection of files includes newspaper and magazine clippings, independent research, pamphlets, programs, and other ephemeral materials relating to local, regional, and state history. The files are organized alphabetically by subject. Although the files cannot be checked out from the library, most materials in them may be reproduced.

Street Files
This collection includes survey sheets and other documentation for specific buildings. The files are arranged alphabetically by street name. Street numbers grouped by block are followed by “blk.” Street numbers with “#” in front of them are individual addresses. Some buildings with more extensive documentation may be filed in the Clipping Files collection under the name of the building. Try searching both the Street Files and the Clipping Files.

Texas Communities Files
This collection includes clipping files on towns (other than San Antonio) located within the twelve county Alamo Area Council of Governments region. These twelve counties are: Atascosa, Bandera, Bexar, Comal, Frio, Gillespie, Guadalupe, Karnes, Kendall, Kerr, Medina, and Wilson. Files on San Antonio are part of the main clipping file collection (top).
