“Is Your Neighborhood Climate Ready?”

At July’s meeting, the City of San Antonio’s Office of Sustainability will present on how neighborhoods can join the growing movement of community-based organizations increasing their climate resilience in San Antonio. OHP staff will also present on the policy guide for xeriscaping and sustainable landscaping in historic districts.”  You don’t have to live in a historic district to  benefit  from learning a new sustainable approach to green spaces. WHAT IS THE HISTORIC DISTRICTS COALITION?
A collaboration between the Office of Historic Preservation, historic district residents, and other members of the public, the HDC provides a regular forum for historic district and neighborhood leaders, property owners, preservation advocates to engage with the City of San Antonio on preservation-related issues.
