Conservation Society Publication Awards: A Literary Luncheon

Every other year, the Society invites history lovers to join us in publicly recognizing the authors of the best recently published books on Texas history.

Our awards luncheon took place on Friday, March 28th at the Estancia del Norte Hotel.

From the thirty-three nominations received last summer, our volunteer readers determined the top ten titles, and chose one winning children’s book.  See the complete list of winners, featuring links to book summaries and author biographies on our Publication Awards page.
