The Conservation Society and NIOSA^®, backed by numerous supporters, expressed their concerns over plans to privatize half of Maverick Plaza for restaurant use. Along with other community stakeholders, we also took issue with the applicant’s characterization of the amount of stakeholder collaboration that actually took place on the design presented.
